If you want to add an avatar you have to click almost on the frame on the picture, it doesn't work if you click in the middle of the picture. I mean the left picture in your profile, not the picture on the top where you can logout.
This happens with MacOS 10.6.7 and FF 3.6.15.

Confirming. I'm seeing the same in Chrome. This is in our bug list, so we'll take care of it shortly. The tooltip is also acting erratically. Thank-you for reporting. =)
