I'm going to try to start "writing with a knife" to keep things shorter and snappier, cutting out the fluff. I may even burn a copy of "War and Peace" just to be symbolic about my personal battle to avoid long winded writing! I should say no more now. Really I shouldn't...
But first, here's a few notes about the type of stuff I like to riff on from time to time. =)
Startup Shout-outs - When I see startups doing really cool stuff like Epipheo, Blekko, or Khan Academy, I love to share. Often these blogs will be kinda techie but sometimes they'll be something everyone should see.
Social Media Stuff - I pay close attention to interesting startups and people in the Social Media world. Occasionally I like to talk about standouts like Freddie Wong on YouTube or the awesome software Gremln. These guys rock. Occasionally I pick on Mark Zuckerberg. Yes, it's probably just jealousy, but he has several billion reasons not to care what I say! =)
Interesting Discoveries - When I find little gems like Hank Moody ripping on Internet-speak... I just can't help but share!
Wish Lists - You'll catch me describing my wish lists sometimes too... like free Kindle eBooks or saving my Fotolia credits from death by expiry. I'm really very wishful!

Software Dev Ideas - Sometimes I share insights into how we think about software development, especially how it influences what we're planning to do with Launch.forum. It gives a glimpse into how we go about creating LF.
Launch.forum Updates - We're way overdue for a Launch.forum update. I'd like to get more active on keeping you up to speed on some of the stuff we're working on or discussing as a team. FYI - We're always brainstorming behind the scenes in the team forum. It's oh so very secret. Shhsss...
Strange Stuff - Yes... I'm a geek. Occasionally I share some ideas that might be more appropriate for reddit.com! But, let's face it, it's fun to share weird ideas sometimes! I'm also obsessed with typos... err... not making them. Guilty!
Consumer Watchdog Tidbits - This is probably where my most long winded content comes from. My evil marketing topic took hours to finish and is way too long. I hope somehow it contributes to people who are searching for info on unfair biz practises or caveats with stuff like Groupon. Definitely not for everyone!
While I battle to keep things short, please feel free to jump in and share your ideas too... or ask me what the heck I'm rambling about. I'd love to shoot the breeze with you. =)
